This message is to inform you that, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic, our office will close beginning Monday, March 23rd to the public. As a firm, we want to make sure we are doing our part to minimize the spread of this virus. The health and well-being of our clients and staff, as well as their families, are our utmost priority at this time. While the office is temporarily closing, partners and staff will be working remotely. You can expect the same unparalleled service to continue for all of your tax and accounting needs. You can continue to send mail and faxes to our office as well as emails to any partner or staff. Also, you can continue to call us at the office as we have a system in place to respond to calls promptly. Please leave us a voicemail if we don’t answer your call. We can setup conference calls and Face -Time or Skype appointments to accommodate your needs.
The federal and North Carolina filing and payment deadlines have been extended from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020. The Internal Revenue Service and the North Carolina Department of Revenue will not charge interest and penalties for payments received after April 15, 2020 as long as the payments are received by July 15, 2020.
We urge everyone to practice social distancing and follow all hygiene suggestions as prescribed by our federal, state and local authorities.
